8Kloud Connect gets the show out of the building. Everything after it runs in the cloud — switching, recording, encoding, and packaging — so the on-site footprint stays small and the production scales with the event.

Every module is a standalone tool with its own browser-based interface. Deploy the whole chain for a full cloud production, or drop a single module into a workflow you already have.

8Kloud Connect

On site · contribution

The 8K on-site contribution engine. Connect takes the camera feeds coming out of the production and gets them up to the cloud intact, at up to 8K, over the connectivity the venue actually has.

8Kloud Raw Recorder

On site · raw capture

Captures the sources at the venue, at full quality, before contribution or any re-encoding. Raw Recorder is the safety net and the post-production master: every source, kept as it came off the camera, recorded for the length of the show.

8Kloud Switcher

8Kloud Recorder

Multi-source recording, straight to disk, with a browser UI. Recorder captures up to eight sources at once into growing files that an NLE can open while the show is still running — so the edit starts before the event ends.

8Kloud Streamer

Takes the program feed, encodes it, and sends it on — to 8Kloud Origin, to a CDN, or to whatever destination the show requires. Built for unattended operation, event after event.

8Kloud Origin

Cloud · packaging

A live SRT-to-HLS/DASH origin server. Origin takes the contribution stream, packages it into CMAF segments, and serves live HLS and DASH for playback — with per-channel configuration from a web GUI.

  • SRT ingest, in listener or caller mode
  • CMAF (fMP4) packaging with live HLS and live DASH output
  • ABR ladders — the source is the passthrough top rung
  • Low-latency LL-HLS and LL-DASH, opt-in per channel
  • Multiple concurrent channels, each with its own ingest and URLs
  • Web GUI with live stats and a built-in preview player, plus a REST API
